What Messages Are Sent
FlowLine Operations sends the following types of automated text messages on behalf of home service businesses that use our platform:
- Missed Call Follow-Ups — when a customer calls a business and doesn't get an answer, they receive an automated text letting them know the business will get back to them.
- Google Review Requests — after a service is completed, customers may receive a text asking them to leave a Google review for the business.
- Appointment Reminders — customers may receive text reminders about upcoming scheduled appointments.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by business usage. Typically, an end consumer will receive 1-4 messages per interaction (e.g., a missed call follow-up sequence). Businesses using FlowLine typically send 1-5 messages per day total across all their customers.
Opt-In / Consent
Consent to receive SMS messages is obtained through the following methods:
- Business Owners — enable SMS features during FlowLine onboarding and configure their messaging preferences in the dashboard. By activating these features, business owners authorize FlowLine to send messages on behalf of their business.
- End Consumers (Missed Call) — when a consumer calls a business using a FlowLine tracking number, the business's voicemail greeting informs them that they may receive a follow-up text message. By calling the business number, the consumer provides implied consent to receive a follow-up text.
- End Consumers (Review Requests) — businesses obtain consent during the service interaction. Customers who have completed a service with the business and provided their phone number may receive a review request.
- Verbal Consent — consumers may provide verbal consent during service interactions, authorizing follow-up communications.
Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving messages:
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that business's messages.
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent from that number.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. FlowLine is not responsible for any charges from your carrier related to receiving text messages.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability and policies.

FlowLine SMS is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
